Bio
Kent Hanwell (1964 - ) was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Kent has been involved with music since childhood. At age 5, he was singing in a children’s choir, and he was taking piano lessons at the same time. Music was part of his growing up years and carried on through to post secondary education, where he was enrolled in the studio music program at Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta. Since graduating he has been involved in recording projects for radio and television, and most recently scored music for performance. He is actively involved as a writer/composer, and spends as much time as possible writing lyrics and stories, as well as scoring and producing original compositions for all ages.
